NFL Week 14 Pro Football Power Rankings

As we enter into the last four weeks of the NFL pro football season, here are the power rankings of the 32 NFL pro football teams along with some candid remarks about each team.

1. The Green Bay Packers- Green Bay is starting to show potential cracks in their structure. Eli Manning nearly bested this team last week except for the last minute heroics of Aaron Rodgers guiding the Packers to a game winning field goal drive. Green Bay stays undefeated and on top of our rankings.

2. The San Francisco 49ers- Jim Harbaugh has this team believing in itself again as the 49ers claimed their 18th division title in the Super Bowl Era and its first title since 2002. Although the win was against the hapless Rams, the 49ers are a very strong team worthy of #2 status on our rankings.

3. The New Orleans Saints- This scoring machine of Drew Brees, Darren Sproles, and Jimmy Graham is keeping pressure on the 49ers on their chase for the 2nd seed and a first round playoff bye.

4. The Pittsburgh Steelers- Yes, I am saying it. This is the AFC's best team coming into week 14. The offense and defense last week against Cincinnati both clicked perfectly in a convincing display of power and finesse. Expect more of the same on Thursday night against the Cleveland Browns.

5. The Baltimore Ravens- The Ravens have earned a spot below the Steelers in the NFL Pro Football Power Rankings but in the top five teams simply due to their record. Although they have swept the Steelers in regular season play in the AFC North Division, the Ravens have not won convincingly against lesser teams.

6. The New England Patriots- New England, like the Saints, is an offensive powerhouse. Brady and Gronkowski put up a tremendous number of points. However the Patriots defense is rather porous and could cause problems for this team if it doesn't show up against the lesser teams in their remaining schedule.

7. The Houston Texans- Houston proved that it could win without Schaub. TJ Yeats came out gunning last week and Andre Johnson responded. Expect tremendous efforts from Yeats as well as from Arian Foster and Ben Tate this week.

8. The Denver Broncos- Yes, I am going to say this. I like Tim Tebow. The Denver Bronco's have come together as a cohesive team because of John Fox putting together a game plan that involves the Triple Option Offense. The Bronco's are playing to Tebow's strengths and will continue to win as long the defense remains opportunistic against the Chicago Bears this week.

9. The New York Jets- Mark Sanchez, when he is playing smart, is one of the best in the business. With all of the Jets tough opponents behind them, I expect the Jets to clinch a final wild card spot in the AFC .

10. The Atlanta Falcons- The Falcons have not been the mainstay of consistency this year. The loss to the Texans last week put the Saints in the driver seat and put the Falcons hope for the post season in the wild card race.

11. The Tennessee Titans- Chris Johnson had a very nice game against the Bills last week. The Titans have a tough week 14 opponent but have two of the last four games on their schedule against the Colts and Jaguars.

12. The Detroit Lions- It is going to be up to Coach Schwartz to motivate this team in the right direction. The on and off field problems of Suh and the injury bug around Jahvid Best and Kevin Smith have proven to be distractions. The upside, the rival Bears are reeling with injuries to Cutler and Forte. This team still has a chance for the post season if it stays focused and disciplined.

13. The Oakland Raiders- The Oakland Raiders laid an egg against Miami last week with a lackluster performance. With the Broncos surging, this team needs to stay focused to win the AFC West.

14. The Cincinnati Bengals- This team is a very dangerous team. Yes, they had a tough game last week against the Steelers. However, this team can still make the playoffs as Andy Dalton makes high percentage passes to the likes of AJ Green and Simpson and the defense stays stout.

15. The New York Giants- The last second loss to the Packers was tough. However, Eli Manning and Victor Cruz are becoming a very formidable duo. Two of the Giants next four games are against the Cowboys. With that stated, this team still has a chance for a post season.

16. The Dallas Cowboys- This team is loaded with talent and bad luck. It seems that they are not in sync, especially when the coach ices his kicker in an embarrassing loss. This team has two tough games ahead with the Giants.

17. The Chicago Bears- The losses of Jay Cutler and Matt Forte puts this team in a precarious position especially when it puts up only 3 points against the Chiefs. A loss to the Broncos could open the door for Detroit to make the playoffs.

18. The Seattle Seahawks- The Seahawks have a strong running game with Marshawn Lynch and with that said, they may make 9 wins this season.

19. The San Diego Chargers- Finally, this team is playing the way is should. The key players are back and Phillip Rivers en fuego. This team can make a run for it and shock Tebow's Broncos.

20. The Buffalo Bills- In the long fall from the top, the Bills are starting to find some traction with CJ Spiller. Defenses have figured out Fitzpatrick but this team has the potential to string some wins together.

21. The Miami Dolphins- Matt Moore is developing a nice relationship with Brandon Marshall. Reggie Bush is becoming a threat, and the Miami Defense is playing with a new found purpose. This team shocked Oakland and will continue to be plucky for the rest of the season.

22. The Arizona Cardinals- The Cardinals have won four of their last five games and gave Baltimore fits in week 8. Arizona is showing signs of life with the legs of Beanie Wells and Stephens-Howling.

23. The Philadelphia Eagles- Michael Vick is coming back this week. Hopefully somebody can lead this team out of its malaise. This team is definitely in a funk.

24. The Carolina Panthers- The Cam Newton show continues as he had three rushing and one passing touchdown last week.

25. The Washington Redskins- This is a team of one step forward and two steps back. Roy Helu is emerging as a decent running back, but TE Fred Davis and an offensive tackle get suspended for four games for substance abuse.

26. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Kudos to Raheem Morris for sending DT Brian Price home for a foolish and selfish penalty. Coach Morris has to motivate this underachieving bunch to get the show on the road. LeGarrett Blount is horribly inconsistent and the offense just is not there.

27. The Minnesota Vikings- At this time, Christian Ponder is the only bright spot on this lackluster team. Adrian Peterson may be back this week, but this does not cure a weak defensive secondary.

28. The Kansas City Chiefs- Just a few weeks ago the Chiefs were on a roll when they defeated the Chargers on Monday Night Football. Now this team is rolling to the depths of the power rankings. Kansas City's Hail Mary Touchdown was the first TD in 33 possessions.

29. The Cleveland Browns- This team did play the Ravens tough for the first half and had every opportunity to win that game. However, the Browns inept offense led by Colt McCoy and a porous run defense puts the Browns in the bottom five of the NFL Pro Football Power Rankings.

30. The Jacksonville Jaguars- If you put Tim Tebow on this team, the results would be the same as what Gabbert is doing. There is not enough talent on the Jaguars to help this team win. No offensive weapons other than Maurice Jones-Drew yields a fired coach and a hapless season.

31. The St Louis Rams- AJ Feeley is in a no-win situation. Don't be surprised to see Steve Spagnolo gone before the end of the season.

32. The Indianapolis Colts- Dan Orlovsky gave a solid effort against the Patriots, but this is a team that really needs fixing.
