Fantasy RB Sleepers Doug Martin

When the Buccaneers traded back into the first round to draft Doug Martin with the 31st pick overall, a lot of fantasy football owners, and NFL analysts alike, thought he would be splitting carries with current running back LeGarrette Blount. Now, it's looking more and more in the fantasy football world, that Martin will be the starter and Blount will be a second thought.

Doug Martin is a solid third down back, with dependable hands for a running back. He also knows how to run between and around the tackles...a big plus for an up and down Tampa Bay offense. He is a solid starting running back for a team that fits his play-style as well.

What makes Doug Martin such a sleeper is the fact that he will be getting lost in free agency talk for the Buccaneers. The Buccaneers, thus far, have amassed nearly 70 transactions, including picking up Vincent Jackson and Dallas Clark.

Fantasy football owners should add his as an RB2, and look to draft him anywhere from round 4 up to round8(which would be a steal pickup).

UPDATE: Here's my follow-up to this original post from last year.
