Week 7 College Football Predictions

Every week we're breaking down the top 25 teams in college football and a couple of "at large" games. Check out our picks, and who our upset specials are! James sure needs to redeem himself after some bad upset special picks.....
Do you have an upset we should be watching out for? Let us know! You get a big upset right and we'll mention you on our next post and podcast!

1 LSU (6-0) at Tennessee (3-2)
There's no stopping the Tigers right now. They're playing too well, even going to Volunteer country.
Dot's Pick:  LSU 30-10            Dellav's Pick:                Final:

2 Alabama (6-0) at Mississippi (2-3)
Everybody knows about Trent Richardson, but look for Bama backup RB Eddie Lacy to rack up some yards in garbage time this week.
Dot's Pick:  Alabama 38-3            Dellav's Pick:             Final:

3 Oklahoma (5-0) at Kansas (2-3)
Kansas has put up points in their three losses, but is it enough to avoid a fourth straight loss?
Dot's Pick:  Oklahoma 41-27            Dellav's Pick:            Final:

Indiana (1-5) at 4 Wisconsin (5-0)
If you are expecting the Hoosiers to go up to Badger country and pull off a win...well you're a brave gambler.
Dot's Pick:  Wisconsin 45-10            Dellav's Pick:               Final:

5 Boise State (5-0) at Colorado State (3-2)
The Broncos are averaging over 40 points per game. They're away from the blue turf, though.
Dot's Pick:  Boise 38-14            Dellav's Pick:              Final:

6 Oklahoma State (5-0) at Texas (4-1)
After allowing 55 points to the Sooners last week, Texas now gets the honor of hosting the top offense in the country in Oklahoma State. At least the 'Horns are on their home field this week.
Dot's Pick:  Okla St 42-35            Dellav's Pick:              Final:

7 Stanford (5-0) at Washington State (3-2)
It's the Andrew Luck show. He's performing unbelievably. Why aren't we hearing his name for Heisman?
Dot's Pick:  Stanford 37-17            Dellav's Pick:              Final:
8 Clemson (6-0) at Maryland (2-3)
We know what Clemson team will show up. But what Terps team will show up? The ugly state flag uniform team that beat Miami? The team that lost by less than a touchdown to WVU and GT? Or the team that got destroyed 38-7 at home against Temple?
Dot's Pick:  Maryland 17-14            Dellav's Pick:              Final:
18 Arizona State (5-1) at 9 Oregon (4-1)
LeMichael James is out. Can the Ducks offense adjust their play? Or will the Sun Devils come into Eugene and steal a victory?
Dot's Pick:  Oregon 39-28            Dellav's Pick:                 Final:

11 Michigan (6-0) at 23 Michigan State (4-1)
Sparty's seniors are trying to do something that MSU hasn't done since the 1960s: complete the four-year sweep of the Wolverines. MSU has given Michigan their first loss each of the last two years. The game being in East Lansing might be the difference in this one.  Dotson's game of the week!
Dot's Pick:  Michigan State 34-31            Dellav's Pick:               Final:

12 Georgia Tech (6-0) at Virginia (3-2)
Still one of the best offenses in the country, the option power of GT goes to Virginia to face the interesting Cavalier team. All of the Jackets' games have been close
Dot's Pick:  Georgia Tech 31-20            Dellav's Pick:               Final:

15 South Carolina (5-1) at Mississippi State (3-3)
The Ol' Ball Coach has to travel to face the Bulldogs. Can they stop Lattimore? Can MSU pull off the unthinkable?
Dot's Pick:  South Carolina  24-14            Dellav's Pick:          Final:

Ohio State (3-3) at 16 Illinois (6-0)
Don't look now, but the Illini are set up to be representing the Leaders in Indianapolis! This is their first big test (not like Arizona State and Northwestern were gimmies), and Ohio State is coming off a heartbreaking loss to Nebraska.
Dot's Pick:  Illinois 21-6            Dellav's Pick:                Final:

17 Kansas State (5-0) at Texas Tech (4-1)
K-State has impressed every time they take the field. Texas Tech lights up the scoreboard each week. Playing in Lubbock?  The Wildcats stopped Baylor's high-powered offense, can they do the same to the Red Raiders?
Dot's Pick:  Kansas State 35-27            Dellav's Pick:               Final:
19 Virginia Tech (5-1) at Wake Forest (4-1)
Wake Forest has three conference wins, including an upset win vs. Florida State last week. But this is VT now...
Dot's Pick:  Virginia Tech 24-10            Dellav's Pick:             Final:

20 Baylor (4-1) at 21 Texas A&M (3-2)
A&M has struggled stopping the passing game this year. Next: Robert Griffin III. However, the Aggies have won 18 of the last 20 matchpus between these two teams and they're at home.
Dot's Pick:  Baylor 52-31           Dellav's Pick:               Final:

Florida (4-2) at 24 Auburn (4-2)
Both teams are in QB trouble. Gene Chizik is sticking with Barrett Trotter it sounds like, while Will Muschamp won't make a decision until gameday for the Gators. Could it be three straight losses for Florida?
Dot's Pick: Florida 24-21           Dellav's Pick:               Final:

OTHER NOTABLE GAMES:

Purdue (3-2) at Penn State (5-1)
Derek Moye is out for the Nittany Lions, a definite blow.  After last week, it would seem too obvious to say that Matt McGloin will start for Penn State, but would anybody be surprised if JoePa goes with Bolden to start yet again? Purdue also has a dual QB system to deal with.
Dot's Pick: Penn State 23-7            Dellav's Pick:               Final:

Utah (2-3) at Pittsburgh (3-3)
High Octane had some trouble last week at Rutgers. If Tino Sunseri doesn't improve, we might be seeing more packages featuring Trey Anderson.  Utah averages only 21 points against on defense, but they have yet to play anybody as skillful as Ray Graham. If Graham shows up, Pitt will be difficult to beat, no matter the opponent.
Dot's Pick:   Pitt 31-14            Dellav's Pick:                 Final:
