We Support You, Penn State Football

With all of the allegations going on out there regarding former coach Jerry Sandusky, everybody seems to be forgetting about the current young men of Penn State's football team. They have nothing to do with the terrible happenings in Happy Valley, and they are the ones who are going to be most affected by the media blitz that will surround the team and the university.

This post is in support of you, Nittany Lion football team. We encourage everybody to show their support of the team in the comment section below. You are not forgotten in all of this. WE ARE always PENN STATE proud, especially of our students and student-athletes.

  1. Don't worry about everything around you. Worry about each other, worry about the team, don't let it distract you from the amazing feats you have already achieved and from those that you will continue to achieve in the coming weeks. Focus on the game, and you will be rewarded. Keep the morale high, keep your heads up, and go take care of business!

  2. Go get that Big Ten championship State! Do not let anyones ignorant comments about your university get you down. 2 bad apples on a tree doesn't make the whole tree bad.

  3. This has by far been the most disturbing thing to ever happen at penn state university. This is a very bad representation of what Penn State is. When we say We Are! and when we sing that alma mater specifically "may no act of ours bring shame" this is not the sort of thing we represent. For a university that prides itself on integrity and doing things the right way this is very disappointing to see. However, this is an issue that deals with a former defensive coordinator and university officials who did not take proper action, this IS NOT an issue with the players. It's a shame that these events have completely trumped all the success the penn state football team has had this season. Penn State is ranked 12th in the bcs and about 2 wins away from attending the first big ten championship game. We should be talking about that this week. We should be supporting these players who have busted their asses all season to get to a very respectable 8-1. The wins have not been pretty, but they have been wins none the less. So lets not blame the players for this incident, lets support them and be behind them as they welcome Nebraska into happy valley this weekend.
