What have we learned so far this year? Nothing is predictable. Four winners, four different teams, and four different championship points leaders. So why should we try to predict? Because it's what we do!
Here's what we know from the testing in the past couple of weeks and the early practices in Spain:
- Red Bull Racing is still looking solid as ever. Nothing spectacular, just solid as can be.
- Vettel on the other hand just appears to be back to the Vettel of old...scary thoughts!
- Ferrari is still playing catch up, they can't seem to find the speed necessary to keep up with the big guys of RBR, McLaren, Mercedes, and Lotus.
- Sauber and Force India might take some gambles this week to see if they can get their racers up to the podium again.
- No word as to whether or not McLaren has fixed up the consistent issues they've been having on pit lane. Further, they cannot seem to get the hard compound of tires to work for them.
- Nico Rosberg is outperforming Michael Schumacher and is the only Mercedes driver you should think of taking.
- The Lotus team is very quiet, but very confident. They are showing speed and consistency, a silent killer right now in F1.
