Fantasy Football WR Brian Quick

The St. Louis Rams were high enough on Brian Quick to get out of the Justin Blackmon race and instead pick him up in the second round. Other than a lackluster and inexperienced Denario Alexander, Brian Quick will be the biggest wide receiver, and best choice of target for whoever is healthy behind center, in the Rams quiet arsenal of last season. New Head Coach Jeff Fisher has always liked to stretch the football field with speedy wide receivers and Brian Quick could find himself starting immediately.

Despite most fantasy football and NFL analysts' belief that it will take the receiver time to develop into a solid receiving and threatening wide receiver, and fantasy football gamer, coming out of Appalachian State, no Rams receiver is a threat to step in his way once camp starts. Aside from the now departed Brandon Lloyd, no receiver surpassed 425 yards or 2 scores last season, leaving this year's fantasy football choices to be pretty thin when it comes to the St. Louis Rams.

My recommendations lay in how you feel about Sam Bradford and his injury woes. Brian Quick is young, and good, but inexperienced coming from such a small school. Look for him to start filling in rosters in a late 11-15 round selections for fantasy football owners, and to fill in for bye weeks, as well as get some WR4, or flex spots. Is he as good as a WR3 spot, or steady flex1? Who knows right now...it comes down to the Rams' new head coach, and how the offense clicks behind him.
